From the beginning of Mass until the First Reading

STAND

From the First Reading until the Gospel Acclamation

SIT

From the Gospel Acclamation until the end of the Gospel

STAND

During the Homily

SIT

From the Profession of Faith until the end of the Prayer of the Faithful

STAND

From the Preparation of the Gifts to the completion of the “Pray, brothers and sisters, that our sacrifice may be acceptable to God…”

SIT

From the beginning of the assembly’s response, “May the Lord accept this sacrifice from your hands…” to the end of the “Holy, Holy”

STAND

From the end of the Holy, Holy until after the Amen at the end of the Eucharistic Prayer

KNEEL

From the beginning of the Lord’s Prayer until the end of the “Lamb of God”

STAND

From the end of the Lamb of God until after “Lord, I am not worthy…”

KNEEL

After the “Lord, I am not worthy” until all have received Eucharist
(Archbishop Sheehan has requested the choice)

Kneel or Sit or STAND

During the sacred silence after all have received Eucharist

SIT OR KNEEL

From the beginning of the Prayer after Communion until the end of Mass
